Immediately after arrival in The Fiddle and the Sea we knew we've arrived in a b&b out of the ordinary. Many thanks to you, Denise and Alain, being so perfect hosts. If we had known your b&b before we certainly would have stayed not only 1 night with you! Our sleeping room as well as the sitting area were furnished very tastefully. But the most impressive remains your outstandig breakfast (fruits, soufflé, bread with countless different marmelades...) in this wonderful dining room enriched with your personal and individual service. Alain: thanks that you've showed us the beauty of Nova Scotia with your photos and framed the breakfast musically with the fiddle. We really hope to get another chance to stay in The Fiddle and the Sea. Best regards Birgit & Werner

We stayed here in July 2017. The spacious, immaculate room looked over the ocean and was very comfortable. They had tea and coffee available in the foyer at all times. Not only did Denise and Alain provide a scrumptious breakfast but Alain accompanied us on the fiddle. And it gets even better than that if you can believe it! After breakfast, Alain gave a history of the area with a slideshow and in-depth commentary. This was an amazing place to stay. They also gave the ‘heads up’ on community dance that was to take place that evening that was one more fabulous highlight of our 43-day trip across Canada.

We had a wonderful two nights here. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were awesome and as well as the information and music Alaine provided. Great B & B.

Une étape très confortable, un petit déjeuner gourmand (ah les confitures de Denise...) accompagné par le violon d’Alain qui vous donnera une foule d'informations sur la musique et le violon. Une très bonne étape à recommander.

We were comfortable in a spacious room (with a nice bathroom) in a newly built modern house. The hosts are warm, friendly and enthusiastic about the area. Breakfast was nicely prepared, served with Denise’s lovely preserves, and we enjoyed being serenaded by Alain for a brief fiddle performance.

Location! Location! Location! Whether you're into music, biking or hiking, this is a great place to stay.Stayed there for 3 nights in July. Warmly welcomed by our hosts, Denise & Alain. Rooms are beautiful and spacious, view on the sea, and very well equiped; tasty breakfast and very helpful tips on sites and events in the area. Close to great spots to enjoy good music (Red Shoe Pub, etc.) and to breath-taking Cabot Trail... Awesome! Totally recommend it!
